What is a selection?
A selection is a named list of styles with no committed units — think press picks, a showroom follow-up, or a proposal for one buyer. You curate it from your catalogue (filtered by season or linesheet), optionally tie it to a customer, and email it as a branded document, just like an order confirmation.
How do I create and send one?
- 1On the Selections page click New selection, name it, and optionally pick a customer.
- 2Filter by season or linesheet and tick the styles to include.
- 3Open it and hit Send by email — the buyer receives a branded email with the styles.
Buyers can also send selections to *you*: on a linesheet they can heart styles and submit them as a selection, without placing an order.
How do I turn a selection into an order?
Open the selection and click "Turn into an order" — the styles carry into a new order where you add quantities. If the selection came from an order grid and already carries proposed quantities, they prefill the matrix.
Can I archive old selections?
Yes. Archive keeps a selection (and its history) but hides it from the working list; unarchive any time. Delete removes it entirely.
