How do I track stock levels?
The Inventory page shows live stock for all products and variants across every location — warehouses, showrooms, and stores. Update stock manually, by receiving purchase orders, or through the Shopify sync.
- 1Move stock — shift units between locations; every move is written to the stock ledger.
- 2Reserved — units ring-fenced for confirmed orders (and mirrored as reserved in Shopify).
- 3Available — on hand minus reserved: what you can still sell or allocate.
- 4Per-location columns — on-hand at each warehouse, showroom or store. Click a header to sort.
Where do I see stock of fabric, trims and packaging?
The Inventory page has two tabs. Products is finished goods; Components is everything they are made of — fabric, trims and packaging — read straight off your component stock.
Each line is one holding: one component, in one colour, in one version, at one place. A zip held in 17cm and in 21cm at the same warehouse is two lines, and black and ecru of one jersey are two lines — they are dyed, held and run short separately, so a single combined number would be one you could not order against.
- 1Search by component, code, colour, version or supplier, and narrow to one warehouse or supplier with the chips.
- 2Click In your warehouses or At suppliers to see only one kind of holding.
- 3Set stock on any line opens the same editor as Production → Materials — each figure replaces what that place held, and every change is logged.
Does QUOMODA handle retail and DTC stock too?
Yes. Wholesale, retail, and DTC share one stock pool.
How do I move stock between locations?
Use Move stock on the Inventory page: pick the From and To location, choose an article (the ones in stock at the source are listed first, with their quantities), type how many of each size to move, and confirm. The from / to levels update immediately and the move is written to the stock ledger.
What is stock allocation?
Allocation reserves available stock for specific orders. Go to the Allocation page to assign stock to confirmed orders — per size and per location — or let auto-allocate distribute it.
How does auto-allocation work?
Auto-allocate distributes available stock across confirmed orders automatically, prioritizing larger orders first. You can review and adjust allocations manually afterwards.
What happens when stock runs out?
The Allocation page shows exactly what's missing ("to cover") and lets you create purchase orders for the shortfall — per supplier, or for a single order.
Can I see and export the movement history?
Yes. The Movements log on the Inventory page is the stock ledger — every receipt, shipment, transfer, and adjustment, with who/when/where.
Filter it by movement type and time range, focus it on one article, and hit Export CSV to take the filtered view into Excel — handy for stock-takes and accountants.
